Owner Information > Owner Information Changes

To better serve our business associates, Southern Pacific Exploration Company maintains a staff to specifically address status changes, transfers of interest and other issues of concern. Notices of address change and interest transfers are frequently received at the company headquarters. Transfers of interest are logged and analyzed for appropriate documentation before we can implement the transfer in our system. Typically address changes are effective within 14 days after we receive written notice. Due to the volume of changes and transfers, the time required for title and account analysis and because this information is then conveyed to our accounts disbursing agents; it could take 30-90 days before our owners receive confirmation from the company. We apologize for this unavoidable delay.

Listed below are some common situations that result in either a change of ownership, or a change to owner status. The right column describes the document(s) required to effect the change. (There may be some differences in the requirements due to laws in particular jurisdictions.)  All changes must be submitted in writing to:

Southern Pacific Exploration Company
Attn:  Division Orders

14081 Memorial Drive, Ste. 2212
Houston , TX 77079

Should you require additional information, please contact Owner Relations at admin@spxco.com or fax questions to our Inquiry Line at (877) GAS-NATION. You will be prompted to leave your name (and spelling), telephone number and owner number (if available), and our staff will return your call - usually by the next business day.
