Thank you for visiting Southern Pacific Exploration Company's (“SPXCO”) website. SPXCO was created for one reason, to create and build asset value and cash flow for the company and its investors. The founders of the company have lifelong experience in the oil and gas industry having drilled, completed and produced wells in Texas, New Mexico and Wyoming as well as gaining further experience developing and/or evaluating prospects and properties in other states and geological provinces such as California, Washington, Nevada, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, New York and in the Amadeus and Cooper-Eromanga Basins, Australia.

SPXCO will focus its oil and gas development efforts towards resource plays principally in order to develop gas reserves, attempting to maintain a production ratio tilted in favor of natural gas. Through SPXCO, our investors have access to an inventory of drilling and development prospects which we consider to have a very low drilling risk. Our development prospects are located in geologically proven oil and gas regions and are carefully selected on the basis of geological and reservoir potential, product marketability, operational infrastructure and ultimate return on investment. We intend to develop high quality producing oil and gas properties with low operating cost levels, established production rates and predictable long production life.

Indeed, many of today's “resource plays” present opportunities more akin to investing in technology than in conventional oil and gas. The successful application of technology is much more directed, controllable and affordable than conventional exploration drilling has been. Our application of relatively new technology, combined with development in known resource plays, significantly lessens our risk and accelerates asset growth.

It has long been our belief that the essential requirement for success in this business is simply an honest and competent management team. Accordingly, ethical behavior and business integrity have been our guiding principles as we have developed investment opportunities for both large and small investors. Our lifelong experience “on the ground” in the oilfield including drilling, completion, production and well servicing, along with twenty prior years operating experience with “new field” discoveries and production levels in the top 10% of Texas oil and gas producers, represents an important combination of industry competence in these key areas. Our experience is direct and personal; we are not middlemen or marketers.
