Welcome to Southern Pacific Exploration
Opportunity abounds in times of change and the dramatic, converging crises at the start of the 21st Century are going to change every facet of the world we live in.
The emerging Asian economic giants, China and India, are unrelenting in their quest for energy and raw materials causing, for the first time in history, the United States to have to compete for oil and gas reserves. This is at a time when domestic U.S. demand for oil and gas are skyrocketing!
Ongoing political and social unrest in many of the oil producing centers of the world continues to put upward pressure on oil prices. Oil is an element of the “war on terror”; a war which many predict will last for generations.
Global Peak Oil is upon us while only a small percentage of the world knows anything about its serious implications to our modern way of life. U.S. production peaked around 1971 and within just three years, oil and gas prices soared, and U.S. imports tripled. With a global peak, competition for oil imports and prices will certainly increase even in the best case; in another scenario, the oil may not be available.
We see nothing on the horizon that can “derail” these unrelenting forces working on the energy industry. There is a growing need for new sources of domestic oil and gas. The consensus is that the “era of cheap oil and gas” is over and that the value of energy assets in increasing.
Look all you want, but we doubt you’ll ever find an asset class that treats its owners better than direct ownership of oil and gas production. This asset class can provide very significant monthly cash flows, generates impressive tax benefits, has longevity, appreciates in value, and is a hedge for virtually every other investment. This is why so many investors are embracing oil and gas as a critical component of their portfolios and why they are getting into the market now.
Investing in oil and gas and other natural resources is NOT rocket science; learning about investing your money can be great fun and very rewarding. There’s just nothing in the world like drilling a well -- it’s exciting! And you can build a fortune doing it, a fortune that may outlive you!
We invite you to learn more about energy and the world crisis in oil. We work hard to educate, inform and involve our partners in what we do. A good place to start your knowledge quest is “Adventures in Energy”, an excellent interactive site that provides an eye opening overview of where oil and gas comes from, the industry’s use of cutting-edge technologies and environmental practices to find and develop these resources, and the many innovative products made from oil and natural gas you use every day.
